Alan started his career working in the retail industry for six years. During this time he developed a keen eye for customer satisfaction and detail. Through this he quickly discovered the importance and impact data has had on all of our day to day lives, from what products we buy to how we communicate, even down to how we behave.
At Datalytics, Alan focuses on getting the data into the right shape, ready for analyses. His attention for detail never lets him down, he can spot errors and anomalies from the distance. He has learned the importance of data collection, management and utilisation in gaining insights and making better, more informed business decisions.
In his spare time Alan is an avid reader and writer. When he can, he likes visiting different countries and rates Japan as one of his favourite holidays so far.
